As many of you know, tomorrow, August 16th is the one-year anniversary of Aretha Franklin’s passing. Here’s a story we waited a year to do to bring more attention to pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer and the Aretha Franklin Fund for Neuroendocrine Cancer Research. Thank you Jeff Karoub, Nekesa Moody, Michael Householder and Mesfin Fekadu of the Associated Press for giving this story the focus it deserves.
